One star. The main character, Cyd Charisse rubbed me in all the wrong places with a bratty, shallow personality and this obessession with her boyfriend. However, I did enjoy some of her inner dialoge, because she had a sarcastic sense of humor- though at times she was a little over the top. The way she learns that her biological father and half-siblings aren't all she dreamed them to be, and how she learned her stepdad is more of a father then hers was very sweet, and touched close to my heart.
Books next on the reading list:
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
Room by Emma Donoghue
