Silver-Dream Butterfly

This is just some random poetry I wrote when I couldn't sleep. Not very good, but it was late at night... or maybe early in the morning... hmmm... Oh dear... Anyway, I wrote this because of the dreams I've been having. I'm usually running through this misty field, trying to catch the little silver things. I'm not sure what they are really though. I finally catch one, and when I do I sprout these awesome wings. Their like angel's wings, only black. Their super soft, and really light. And i just fly. The alarm goes off and I go to an average day of school.

Eyes close, but away sleep flies,
And I chase the silver-dream butterflies,
but they elude me.
My feet are bare,
on cold wet dew
Mist swirls around me,
The land of dreams eternal twilight
the breeze runs his whisper-soft fingers
through my hair
As I chase the silver-dream butterflies
Velvety soft wings brush my hand,
As I hold my silver-dream butterfly
I whisper my dream
And the silver-dream butterfly
flies away
But I fly with him now
I have wings!
And the dawn breaks my eyes.
